Service terms
These terms describe the current free mini-audit pilot and the one-time $149 Detailed Website Clarity Audit.
Service scope
The paid audit covers one publicly accessible local-service business website: the homepage plus up to four core pages selected for decision-path clarity, such as a primary service page, contact or booking page, about or trust page, and service-area page. Pages are reviewed at representative desktop and mobile widths. We inspect ordinary public navigation and visible form states, but do not place calls, start chats, make bookings, create accounts, or submit live customer data. We do not request or use hosting, CMS, analytics, advertising, customer-list, or other private account access. The service does not include implementation, code changes, ongoing monitoring, SEO management, legal advice, trade-code guidance, accessibility certification, cybersecurity testing, or HVAC technical advice.
What we need from you
For a paid audit, you must provide an accurate business name, email address, public website URL, and main service area. Work starts only after payment is confirmed and complete intake is available. If required details are not received within 7 calendar days, we may cancel and fully refund the order without beginning the review. You confirm that you are authorized to request a review of the submitted business website.
Delivery
The paid audit is normally delivered by email within 2 business days after payment and complete intake. Delivery includes a plain-English owner report, six-category scorecard, prioritized evidence-backed observations, and a website-admin handoff. One clarification reply about the delivered report is included if requested within 7 calendar days; it does not include a new audit or implementation work. If the site is unavailable, outside scope, unusually large, or missing required information, we pause before evidence capture and contact you. Free pilot timing may vary.
Payment, cancellation, and refunds
The Detailed Website Clarity Audit is a one-time $149 service, not a subscription. You may cancel for a full refund before the first public-page evidence capture begins by emailing hello@siteclaritylab.com. We also issue a full refund if the submitted site is outside scope, cannot be reviewed from public pages, or required intake remains missing after 7 calendar days and no review has begun. After evidence capture begins, the fee is not refundable merely because recommendations are declined; however, if the delivered report materially omits the published deliverables, contact us within 7 calendar days and we will correct the report or refund the affected service. Approved refunds are initiated through Stripe within 5 business days; bank posting time varies.
No guaranteed outcome
The audit provides observations and recommendations, not a promise of rankings, leads, calls, bookings, revenue, energy savings, safety outcomes, legal compliance, accessibility compliance, or HVAC performance. Business owners remain responsible for deciding whether and how to implement recommendations and for having qualified professionals review changes in their respective fields.
Public-site evidence and confidentiality
Reviews are based on public pages and ordinary public-site interactions. We do not publish a customer’s custom report or identify a customer as a client without permission. Do not send passwords, card numbers, customer records, or other sensitive information.
